The aim of the course:
To gain a good understanding how to prepare for professional life.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
The functions and responsibilities of the professional surveyor within society. Professional ethics. Setting up a business, time and resource management. Strategic planning. Ability to communicate effectively, not only with engineers but also with the community at large. Openness to new ideas. International awareness and openness to the world. Professional organizations within surveying disciplines at national and global scales. The functions of the professional societies. Ability to function effectively as an individual and in multi-disciplinary teams, with the capacity to be a leader or manager as well as an effective team member.
