Objectives of the Course
This course aim with the transformation and evolution of theTurkish political and social life and political thought from the beginning of 20th century to the present.

Contents of the Course

The establishment of the Turkish Republic; national-state, The development of the Turkish political system in the Republican period; modernisation, political culture, political thoughts, one-party period; elections and multi-party experiment and military interventions and problems of democracy.
