Precautions for the protection and safety of passengers in emergency situations. Means of limiting damage and salvaging the ship following a fire or explosion. Procedure for abandonıng ship. Auxiliary steering gear. Towing and being taken in tow. Assisting a vessel in distress. Actions which can be taken when emergencies arise in port. Infections and diseases, first aid on board, bleeding, fractures, burns, loss of consciousness, poisoning, well balanced diet, sanitation and family planning. |
