The course aims to provide the students with a general knowledge on democracy theories.

Contents of the Course
This course is an introduction to the theories of democracy. It focuses on the general concepts necessary to understand the democracy theories. In this course, democratic theories are explained, such as pluralistic democracy, social democracy, participatory democracy, radical democracy. On the other hand, the names leading to democratic theories are examined.
