The aim of the course:
The course aims to give information about the basic concepts of management, theories of management and the tasks of manager.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
Management, manager and organization concepts, the tasks of managers (planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting, budgeting, decision making, communicating),management theories (classical theory, neo-classical theory, modern theories, post-modern theories), new concepts and discussions (Total Quality Management, outsourcing, benchmarking, downsizing, employee empowerment, network organizations, lean organization, process engineering, virtuality organization).
