The aim of the course:
The aim of the course is to provide general information on the environmental problems, environment and economics, environmental problems and international relations.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
General concepts, emergence and classification of environmental problems, rapid population growth, irregular urbanization and environmentally insensitive industrialization as causes of environmental problems, economic analysis of environmental problems, environmental problems and international relations, international environmental conventions, climate crisis and international climate agreements, environmental policy instruments; direct controls, economic and financial instruments, environmental impact assessment, solid waste management, legal and institutional structure of environmental management in Turkey.
