The aim of the course:
It aims to scope resources planning, inventory management and quality management in order to get lower costs and higher productivity for production systems.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

LO - 2 : Explain the effect of used production planning and control system on firm productivity.1,2,31,
LO - 3 : Approximate the most appropriate production planning and control system in terms of production goals.1,2,31,

Contents of the Course
Aggregate planning, scheduling, inventory management materials, requirements planning, just in time, total quality management, statistical quality control, maintenance planning, supply chain management, computer integrated manufacturing, flexible manufacturing systems, the new production techniques and technologies.
