The aim of the course:
To reveal the legacy of the Turkish Presence in Azerbaijan Geography and the Political, Economic and Socio-Cultural Structure of the Azerbaijani Khanates in the 18th Century to today's Azerbaijani geography.

Contents of the Course
Turkish Presence in Azerbaijan Geography. Settlement of Turks in Azerbaijan. Russia's descent into the Caucasus and the 17th-18th centuries. Century Ottoman-Russian Rivalry in the Caucasus, Azerbaijan Khanates (Karabakh Khanate etc.) in the Second Half of the 18th Century, 16-19. Society and Economy in the Caucasus Between the Centuries, Demographic and Political Structuring in the Caucasus in the 19th Century, Muridism Movement, Russian Administration and Imperialism in the Caucasus in the 19th Century
