The aim of the course:
To teach the students both national and international history and culture of the region, its relations with other states and peoples and their consequences, to obtain them to capable of reflecting this knowledge in the present and next time and giving to the Turkish Republic some scholarly helps.

Contents of the Course
First Greek settlements on the region of the Black Sea and the Greek colonialism, relations of the region with Outside world, Pontos rule on the region, Roman sovereignty on the Black Sea, Black Sea trade in the Antiquity.
