The aim of the course:
The student should obtain basic knowledge about groundwater exploration, combined disciplines of geology and exploration geophysics.

Contents of the Course
Petrophysical properties of permeable and low permeable rocks, geophysical methods used for groundwater prospection: seismic methods, electrical and electromagnetical methods, other geophysical methods, aquifer structures: pore aquifers, fracture zones and caves, geophysical characterisation of aquifers, grounwater protection: vulnerability of aquifers, mapping of contamination.
