The aim of the Human Rights Course is to give information about the historical development process of human rights and all the documents that have taken place in this process, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the European Convention on Human Rights, the philosophical foundations of human rights and democracy, social contracts, collective life, the process of transforming the principle of human rights and democracy into behavior. Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : define the concepts used in human rights law.
LO - 2 : identify the effects of concepts used in human rights law on individuals and state.
LO - 3 : apply the concepts used in human rights law in legal transections.
LO - 4 : distinguish the legal rules to be used in solving human rights problems.
LO - 5 : evaluate what the functions of human rights law in society.

Contents of the Course
Basic concepts of human rights, understanding the historical development process of human rights, knowledge of basic concepts of human rights, citizenship and democracy, understanding the transition process of human rights to the international arena, understanding how human rights are protected at national and international level, understanding the importance of human rights and coexistence.
