The aim of the course:
The course aims to provide students with undergraduate-level information on monetary policy, especially monetary policy objectives, tools and practices, monetary policy strategies, monetary transmission mechanisms, and monetary crises.
 
Learning OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : The general structure aims, and instruments of monetary policy will be understood.3,61,
LO - 2 : The use of monetary policy instruments, monetary policy strategies, functioning of monetary transmission mechanisms, and para-fiscal policy applications will be learned.3,61,
LO - 3 : By using macroeconomic analysis techniques, interaction mechanisms between the financial sector and the real sector can be analyzed for an economy, especially for the Turkish economy3,61,
LO - 4 : The experiences that was attained by the institutions which implemented economic stabilisation measures and monetary policies will be learned3,61,
