The aim of the course:
It is to tell students studying economics the financial issues of the international economics course in a more financial weighted, detailed and quantitative way compared to the international economics-II class and to help students studying economics to understand the background or theory of the issues participating at the written and/or visual media including the terminology that is used in the field of international finance.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Learn the financial issues of the international economics course in a more financial weighted, detailed and quantitative way compared to the international economics-II class.2,6,81,

LO - 3 : Learn the terminology of the issues participating at the written and/or visual media in the field of international finance.2,6,81,
LO - 4 : Gain a perspective on the contemporary issues such as the developments experienced on the way going to the global financial crisis and on the facts how the financial instruments and which of them could be used.2,6,81,

Contents of the Course
Tackling the issues such as the International Monetary System, International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the International Liquidity, Balance of Payments, Foreign Exchange Market, Basic Parity Conditions in International Finance, the Theories explaining the changes in exchange rates and exchange rate forecasts, Currency Futures, Currency Options, Swaps on different Currencies and Interest Rates by giving also the numerical examples.
