The aim of the course:
The aim of the course is to reveal the economic ties of countries with each other in the globalizing world economy and to learn automatic mechanisms and policies to eliminate external imbalances in open countries.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : understand the dimensions of globalization in economic terms and compare types of economic integration.3,61,
LO - 2 : understand the functioning of foreign exchange markets and foreign exchange market transactions.3,61,
LO - 3 : analyze the causes of external payments imbalances and understand the functioning of automatic external equalization mechanisms and external equalization policies3,61,
LO - 4 : analyze the effects of monetary and fiscal policies for internal and external balance in open economies.3,61,
