The aim of the course:
.The main purpose of this course is to present the physical principles of electrical and electromagnetic methods, applications of these methods, modeling and interpretation of geo-electrical data.

Contents of the Course
Physical principles of electrical and electromagnetic methods used in geophysics, classification of these methods. Source of noise, geo-electrical strike, dimensionality, and configurations. Physical parameters affecting electrical resistivity values of Earth materials. Interpretation of the studies used the methods Electrical resistivity, Self-Potential (SP), Induction Polarization (IP), Magnetotellurics (MT), Audio Magnetotellurics (AMT), Controlled-Source MT (CSMT) and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), ocean-bottom, airborne and well electromagnetics. Laboratory studies and the special link between electrical and electromagnetic methods and other methods.
