The aim of the course:
Main purpose of this course is to learn preparation and interptaton of the microzoning maps especially prepared for the geological disaters and hazards (earthquake, landslide, etc.) that may occure in urban and industrial areas.

Learning OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : have detailed information about hazards of natural disasters that may ocur in urban and industrial areas.1
LO - 2 : learn in detailed microzonation methods and techniques.1
LO - 3 : interpret the microzonation maps in terms of natural disasters that may ocur in urban areas.1
CTPO : Contribution to programme outcomes, TOA :Type of assessment (1: written exam, 2: Oral exam, 3: Homework assignment, 4: Laboratory exercise/exam, 5: Seminar / presentation, 6: Term paper), LO : Learning Outcome
