The aim of the course:
The course aims to provide students elementary theoretical background of the electrical resistivity, induced polarisation, self polarisation and electromagnetic methods. To teach the students data acquisition from the field, interpretation of the obtained data using existing instruments in our department.

Contents of the Course
Introduction of electrical&electromagnetic and borehole logging, acquisition and presentation of the field data, equipotential methods, electrical resistivity methods, self potential (SP) method, induced polarisation (IP) method, telluric and magneto telluric (MT) methods, electromagnetic (EM) methods, very low frequency (VLF) EM method, introduction to airborne EM methods, introduction to borehole logging.
