The aim of the course:
to teach the principles of seismic interpretation and explain the subsurface geology by using these principles

Contents of the Course
Introduction to seismic refraction and reflection, seismic noises, wavelet concept, vertical and horizontal resolution, seismic data processing steps, seismic modeling, theoretical models of the structure bearing hydrocarbon, velocity effect on seismic sections, structural and geometrical effects, data processing artifacts, seismic migration, structural and stratigraphic principles of seismic data interpretation, faced problems in interpretation and its solution
