Contents of the Course
Introduction and basic principles, magnetic field of the earth and its time and space variations, origin of magnetic field, magnetic properties of minerals and magnetism in rocks, paleomagnetism, magnetic anomalies as measured offshore and their relation to mid-ocean spreading centres in plate tectonic
