The aim of the course:
The student should obtain basic knowledge about the origin of the solar system and dynamics of the solid earth. To learn relationship between geological processes occurs on the earth and earth dynamics.

Contents of the Course
Solar system, physical and chemical structure of the earth, rotation and shape of the earth, gravity and magnetic field of the earth, origin of the geomagnetic field of the earth, magnetism of rocks, paleomagnetism, seismology and internal structures of the earth, triple junction, terrestrial heat flow, radioactivity and age of the earth, dynamics of the solid earth
