Contents of the Course
Introduction of forward and inverse modelling. Model and data space. Parameterization, parameter-space search. Deterministic and stochastic solution of the problem. Modelling with the deterministic approach. Linear system modelling and forward solution. Introduction to computing resources, MATLAB command, editing and plotting utilities. This course will involve substantial interaction with personnel computer. Practice of the modelling of simple anomaly shapes in gravity, magnetic and seismology. The work will mostly be conducted in MATLAB.
