Objectives of the Course
The main aim of this course is to provide the students general knowledge about Basic Design and Planning drawing techniques such as Concepts, Elements and Principles of Basic Design; Basic Design Drawing Techniques; Elements of urban space and observation of urban built environment components in urban area; Creative graphical presentation techniques.

Contents of the Course

Basic Design concepts, elements and principles such as form, shape, pattern, etc; Basic Drawing Techniques and Graphical skills as perspective drawing, colouring techniques, hatching methods; Model techniques; Observation and analysis of urban space with respect to natural and built area; Technical knowledge about map, plan drawing, scale, density, etc. ; Graphical and drawing practices (with the studio and take home) in presentation processes
