The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to teach students by which concepts, methods and theories and how the phenomenon of religion was handled from a sociological perspective and to teach the position of religion in the process of the social change in the context of the religion-society relations.

Sociology of religion involves the study of religion and belief systems as a social phenomenon and examination of the relationship between the institution of religion and other social institutions within the framework of sociological approaches and methods
