The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to introduce students to the theories of gender and body sociology, discussions about the body, and the place of the body in discussions of sexuality, gender and women.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : Can define basic concepts such as gender, gender equality, gender hierarchy.4,91,

Contents of the Course
The focus of the course is the concept of gender. The meanings attributed to this concept, the construction of gender in the historical process, sociological perspectives on gender, gender theories, gender equality/inequality in the light of different indicators; The content of the sociology of the body and the relationship between gender and gender are discussed in detail in various sub-titles.
