The aim of the course:
The course aims at providing advanced knowledge on contemporary marine management concepts, ocean and coastal policy issues, international bounding regulations and ocean zoning, marine ecosystem resilience and international conventions.

Introduction to marine areas; Fundamental properties of marine and coastal regions; Ocean zoning; Techniques and approaches of marine area management; Exclusive economic zones; International conventions and regulations.
