The aim of the course:
To gain the ability to draw and read technical drawings within the framework of the rules determined by international standards.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : Can use the tools and equipment required for Technical Drawing in accordance with the standards. 4,71,6,
LO - 2 : Can draw geometric shapes such as lines, angles, polygons, tangent lines and circles etc. during the preparation of Technical Drawings.4,71,6,
LO - 3 : Can apply view extraction methods.4,71,6,
LO - 4 : Can detail technical drawings by taking sections.4,71,6,
LO - 5 : Can prepare the technical drawing of the workpiece.

Contents of the Course
Introducing the tools and equipment used in Technical Drawing. Standard paper sizes and folding of papers. Writing area and letterheads, writing styles of letters and numbers. Line types and applications. Geometric drawings. The projection of the objects. View extraction. Perspective pictures. Sections and standard sectioning types. Measurement methods. Scales.
