The aim of the course:
To introduce class participants to electronic power control. To develop an understanding of the basic structure and analysis of power electronic systems. To explore and illustrate design and application.

Contents of the Course
Solid state relays, Switches and circuit protection, AC voltage regulators, Static serial and shunt compensators, Switch mode dc supplies, electrical motor drives, power electronics for renewable, HVDC, FACTS devices, adjustable speed drives, battery chargers, Electric vehicles, Air conditioner and heat systems.
