The aim of the course:
The objective of the course is to provide students with a rigorous and multifaceted exploration of the Armenian Question, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and perspectives necessary to engage thoughtfully with this complex historical phenomenon and its implications for contemporary society. *Historical Understanding: Provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the historical context, events, and consequences surrounding the Armenian Question *Critical Analysis: Develop students' critical thinking skills by encouraging them to critically evaluate primary and secondary sources, scholarly interpretations, and conflicting narratives related to the Armenian Question. *Empathy and Perspective: Taking: Foster empathy and perspective-taking by exploring the experiences and perspectives of different stakeholders involved in the Armenian Question, including Armenians, Turks, Kurds, and other groups affected by the events. *nterdisciplinary Connections: Encourage interdisciplinary exploration by examining the Armenian Question within broader historical, political, cultural, and sociological contexts, and by connecting it to contemporary issues.
