The aim of the course:
Development of Diplomatic Communication Skills: Teaching students diplomatic writing and speaking rules to equip them with effective communication skills in international relations. Understanding and Implementing Diplomatic Protocol: Teaching students the basic principles of diplomatic protocol to enable them to exhibit appropriate behavior in official events and encounters. Understanding the Foundations of International Relations: Providing students with an understanding of the basic principles of international relations and the importance of international law to establish a general understanding of diplomacy. Introduction to the Functioning of Diplomatic Missions: Providing students with information about the structure, responsibilities, and operations of diplomatic missions to encourage careers or work in diplomacy.

Contents of the Course
Diplomatic Communication: This involves the rules of diplomatic writing and speaking, formal language usage, diplomatic style, and terminology. Protocol Rules: This covers the fundamental principles of diplomatic protocol, behavioral rules at official ceremonies, diplomatic visits, and reception procedures. International Relations: This includes international law, principles of international organizations, and diplomatic relations. Functioning of Diplomatic Missions: This entails the structure, responsibilities, and operations of consulates, embassies, and other diplomatic missions. Diplomatic Correspondence: This encompasses formal letter writing, diplomatic notes, reports, and preparation of other official documents
