This course is designed to equip the students with an understanding of the role of international institutions in the international system, including their impact on providing regional/global peace and security as well as managing inter-economic, political, cultural, societal and functional relations. |

The international organizations introduced in this course range from the Ancient Greek establishments to the United Nations, from the European Union to the African Union, from the Bretton Woods institutions to the Amnesty International. Due to its scope and importance, the workings and the performance of the UN, as well as regionalist trend of international organizations are amongst the highlights of this course. |
