The aim of the course:
Aim of the course is to provide students with understanding and applications of general methods to analyse functions of protein.

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : Identification of protein 3-D structure, conserved motifs and domains by using protein based computer programmes5
PO - 2 : Expression of protein of interest in bacteria, yeast and mammalian cells4
PO - 3 : Purification of protein of interest 1,3,4
PO - 4 : Analysis of protein of interest 1,3,4,5
PO - 5 : Analysis of interaction of protein of interest with other proteins.1,2,4

Contents of the Course
With this course identification of the function of protein will be provided with topics such as; computational analysis of protein using online sources, protein production , purification, visualization and identification of protein of interest interacting proteins.
