The aim of the course:
The aim of this course is to enable students to learn the basic biostatistics methods used in scientific studies, to apply them to the results of the studies, to evaluate, interpret and report the results.
 
Programme OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : Knows the basic concepts of biostatistics, knows data collection and input to SPSS program, Knows the basic biostatistics methods used in scientific studies and can choose Test statistics.81,
PO - 2 : It can analyze the data, evaluate the results, interpret them and make a report, performs statistical analysis at a level to evaluate a scientific article.7,8,10,111,

Contents of the Course
Data types, descriptive criteria, center measures, prevalence measures, making tables and graphs, hypothesis testing (parametric and nonparametric tests) and analyzing data through SPSS program
