ContentsHistory of microbiology; classification and structural aspects of bacteria; life cycle, metabolism, genetics and control of replication; growth requirements of bacteria. Specific emphasis is also given on nucleic acids, gene organization, mutations, protein expression, and recombination of medically important bacteria. |
