The aim of the course:
This course aims to provide new perspectives on the relationships between translation and other fields, fostering an understanding of the interdisciplinary nature of translation (studies) and exploring new/renewed research areas within translation studies.

Contents of the Course
This course covers defining interdisciplinarity in translation studies, examining historical interdisciplinary approaches, and exploring theoretical foundations, methods, and applications regarding interdisciplinary relationships between translation studies and various fields such as linguistics, literature, cultural studies, education, law, history, sociology, psychology, political science, semiotics, architecture, and technology.
