The aim of the course:
Main objective of this course is providing the students a general knowledge on political balances and structures of Balkan, Caucasus, Middle East Regional Political Sub-Sistems; all in which Turkey takes place inside; Turkey's role and place in these regional systems. Also gaining ability of concerning international relations as regional level; near global-general and individual-state levels is purposed.

Contents of the Course
The geopolitical and strategically importance of Turkey, Turkey and the Balkans, historical process, the relationship between Turkey and the Balkan States, the historical and current problems in the Balkans and Turkey, Turkey and Caucasia, historical process, the relations of Turkey with the Caucasian countries, the historical and current problems in Caucasia. Turkey and the Middle East, historical process, the relations of Turkey with the Middle East countries, the historical and current problems in the Middle East are introduced in this unit.
