The aim of the course:
The aim of the course is to give information about coaching education and its development,study methods in coaching, personal characteristics of a sports coach, outlines of coaching education in Turkey and models of coaching education in other countries, fundementals of coaching education and the roles of some foundations

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
LO - 1 : learn coaching education and development.
LO - 2 : grasp the study methods in coaching.
LO - 3 : anlyse monitoring courses.
LO - 4 : grasp the personal characteristics of a sports coach.
LO - 5 : anlyse outlines of coaching education in Turkey and models of coaching education in other countries.
LO - 6 : grasp the fundementals of coaching education and the roles of some foundations.

Contents of the Course
Concept of training and general principles, study methods of a sports coach, basic monitoring curriculum, draft stages of coaching education, framework and sample of coaching education in the countries of European Union, models of coaching education in other countries.
