The aim of the course:
To introduce fossil plants lived in geological periods. Past to day to observe of alterations in plants.

Contents of the Course
Introduction to Paleobotany and its history. Types of plant fossils and their preservation. Early vascular land plants and their charactersitics. The plants in Devonian period and their characteristics. The characteristics and diversity of World flora in Caboniferous. The vascular plants in Cretaceous period and their characteristics. Flora of Tertiary period. Climatic changes in geological periods and its floristic effects.
