The aim of the course:
To introduce biological characters used in plant systematics, and to explain speciation mechanisms in plants.

Contents of the Course
The scope and development of plant biosystematic. Biosystematic methods. Sources of plant diversity. The origin of plants, evolution of flowers, fruits and vegatative organs. Plant speciation and concepts of speciation. Ideal and Hybridizing species. Plant isolating mechanisms.
