The aim of the course:
The course aims to prepare students to advanced research by teaching the classical and novel gen transfer methods, and the regulation of expression of eukaryotic genes on the basis of previous and recent studies

Programme OutcomesCTPOTOA
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : integrate the various mechanisms that nature uses to regulate gene expression2,3,5,81,3,6,
PO - 2 : identify and distinguish temporal and special gene expression2,3,5,81,2,
PO - 3 : understand how transcription factors, promoters and enhancers can specify gene regulation2,3,5,81,2,
PO - 4 : explain the development of an organ2,3,5,81,
PO - 5 : explain the various events that determine and control gene expression in eukaryotes2,3,5,81,5,
PO - 6 : understand the complexity of gene expression in eukaryotes2,3,5,81,3,5,
CTPO : Contribution to programme outcomes, TOA :Type of assessment (1: written exam, 2: Oral exam, 3: Homework assignment, 4: Laboratory exercise/exam, 5: Seminar / presentation, 6: Term paper), PO : Learning Outcome
