Contents of the Course
Introduction to biological control; the significance of the microbial control in biological control systems; the historical perspective of microbiological control; general futures, isolation, identification and preparation as microbial control agent of insect related pathogenic microorganisms (virus, bacteria, nemathode, protozoa and fungi) ; biotechnological control and biotechnology of insect related microorganisms; advantages and disadvantages of microbial control; microbial control in Turkey
