The aim of the course:
To understand structure and organization of proteins, and techniques used in isolation and purification of proteins.

Contents of the Course
Protein structure. Techniques in protein isolation and purification. Protein purification steps. Centrifugation and methods depending on solubility. Chromatographic and electrophoretic methods. Characterization of proteins. Methods for determination of protein concentration. Determination of protein structure. Function of proteins and enzymes. Activity Measurement Methods.
