The aim of the course:
Give theoterical knowledge about the types of cutting materials, the methods of production cutting tools and compare the cutting tool materials.

The types of cutting tool materials, production of cutting tool materials, HSS materials, hard metal materials, ceramic cutting materials, cubic boron nitrite materials(CBN), cermet materials, diamond cutting materials, diamond covered materials, thin film covered materials (TiN, TiCN, TiAlN, CrN).
