The aim of the course:
To teach the relationship between human-space interaction and the creation of their own places, To gain the ability to use in outdoor design environmental characteristics that enable the formation of human-space interactions, To teach theories and practical uses related to place theory, territoriality and claim of space, To bring in information by using these concepts about the users to create their own places for their needs in open space

Contents of the Course
Place theory, Territoriality, Claim of Space: Basic characteristics and principles, relationship between human-space interactions. Basic concepts; perceptual-physical-social characteristics, claim of space structure. Use in environmental-behavior research.
