The aim of the course:
Within the scope of the course, the student will be informed about the urban planning approaches, new planning and approach decisions in accordance with the current environmental conditions. The knowledge and experience of how to develop strategies suitable for climate change from new planning approaches, and how to give effective methods in taking urban planning decisions suitable for the region and the region will be given.

Contents of the Course
In recent years, water scarcity in cities will be discussed and the effect of sudden climate change on urban open green areas will be discussed. Information will be given about the importance of open green spaces in cities, their benefits to cities and the criteria in the adaptation and mitigation process due to climate change.
