The aim of the course:
The purpose of this course is to inform about new methods and approaches which are developed to sustain the resource values and to minimize the negative effects caused by visitors in protected areas. Also, new approach models are evaluated by comprising the models developed in the United States and the protected area planning in Turkey.

Contents of the Course
The concept of protected areas, principles and approaches in protected area planning, concept, aim and targets of visitor management, visitor management principles and its application areas, modals for visitor management, evaluation of visitor management models in the scope of Turkey?s legal, administrative and social conditions.
