The aim of the course:
To development of water resources to solve the drainage problem to provide information about infrastructure system that survey, planning and projecting in landscape architecture application areas

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :
PO - 1 : They know the planning and design of drainage applications in landscape architecture
PO - 2 : They know the criteria for building design and construction projects of drainage systems

Contents of the Course
Drainage practices in landscape architecture, flow coefficients of different flooring application areas, solutions of drainage problems, surface drainage, underground drainage, drainage system applications, natural drainage practices, drainage studies and project planning, drainage practices in the open green space, surface water drainage slope

 Week 6Drainage varieties, surface drainage systems (flow coefficients for different surface materials, rainfall intensity)
 Week 7Presentation of necessary structural elements for surface drainage
 Week 8Closed drainage systems (Houghoudt Glover-Dumm equation)

 Week 10Underground drainage (natural systems, Herringbone systems, fan systems, parallel systems, gridiron system) underground drainage system details
