The course focuses on child and environment interaction, child spaces that possess different functions (schoolyards, playgrounds, natural areas, streets, etc) outdoors, how children use these spaces and how these spaces should be designed. In this context, knowledge will be given about affordance theory to evaluate that these spaces presents opportunities for children. In addition, will be mentioned methods used in child and environmental research and study topics. |
