The aim of the course:
Make students familiar to EU Common Fisheries Policy, Outlining fisheries sector in Turkey as legal, infrastructural and functional aspects by comperative approach and increase their ability by learning to prepare fisheries management plans considering to conserve fish stocks

Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to :

Contents of the Course
Fishing sector in the EU. The common fisheries policy. Conservation and responsible fishing. Restricting caches. More selective fisheries. Adapting management to fishing areas. Structural policy in the fishing sector. Enforcement of law in the fishing sector. Fishing and the environment.
