According to the determination of purpose and methods of analysis of water quality criteria to be learned

Contents of the Course
Water chemistry, Lambert and beer rules, Temperature and catalyst effect on reaction speed, Effect of ionic power with pH, Carbonate systems, Water analysis or fish culcivates, Electrochemical measurements, Devices and instruments using in water quality, Spectrophotometric methods, physique and chemical property of water, nutritious elements.

 Week 1The Importance of Water Quality, Scientific aspects of water, tools and equipment used in water quality, spectrophotometric methods, preparation methods of solutions
 Week 2Physico-chemical properties of water, temperature, currents, density, optical properties (light), upwelling, turbidity
 Week 3Dissolved gases, nitrogen, oxygen, dissolved oxygen determination, determination of hydrogen sulfide and hydrogen sulfide, chemical oxygen demand, biochemical oxygen demand
 Week 4Water hardness, hardness degree, measurement, carbon dioxide and carbon dioxide determination
 Week 5 pH and measurement of pH, alkalinity and Alkalinity Determination
 Week 6Salinity and salinity determination, conductivity and conductivity determination
 Week 7Nutritious elements, nitrogen cycle, and absorption of nitrogen by phytoplankton, nitrification and Denitrification, nitrogen regeneration
