The aim of this course is to provide a knowledge of some environmental systems such as ocean, water, climate and biodiversity. Course topics will include the Greenhouse effect, Carbon cycling and Carbon reservoirs, Ocean circulation, El Nino and Southern Oscillation, conventional and sustainable use of natural resources, global warming and climate change, strategies and politics to mitigate global warming effect. |
